Privacy and data handling.
Cuevera processes text only when you initiate an analysis.
Processing begins after you select text and choose a Cuevera mode.
When you use What They Mean or How I Sound, Cuevera processes the selected text and limited context required to produce the requested analysis.
What Cuevera processes
Cuevera processes the text you select. A limited amount of nearby visible text may also be included when context is needed. Cuevera does not automatically send an entire webpage because you visit it.
AI processing
Selected text and limited nearby context are sent to Cuevera’s server and then to OpenAI, which currently provides the language-processing service. Requests are sent with provider-side response storage disabled using store:false.
Retention
Cuevera does not retain the raw highlighted text or raw nearby context in its application cache. It may retain a one-way cryptographic hash of a request together with the generated result. Limited technical records such as request counts, model usage, token counts and error information may also be retained to operate the service.
Browsing and advertising
Cuevera does not sell browsing history or personal communications and does not use browsing activity for advertising.
Professional information
Cuevera is designed for ordinary workplace communication. Users handling confidential, regulated or professionally restricted information should follow their organisation’s rules for external processing tools.
Payments
Cuevera Premium payments are processed by Paddle. Cuevera does not directly store full payment-card details.
